Press Release - Domestic Violence Case

On November 7, 2017, The Cache County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint that Michael Durand, age 39, of Young Ward was a suspect in a domestic violence case. Over time, more information became available and a focused investigation revealed that the suspect had recently committed several acts of domestic violence; he was in possession of firearms as a restricted person, and is affiliated with a local outlaw motorcycle gang.

Dispute in Nibley, Utah

At approximately 12:20 p.m., deputies from the Cache County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Logan Coach, a trailer manufacturing facility at 2990 S. 800 W. in Nibley, Utah, on a report of a physical altercation that had taken place between two people involving injuries.

ATV Accident in Logan Canyon

Deputies from the Cache County Sheriff’s Office and medical crews out of Logan were dispatched to an A.T.V. accident in the Franklin Basin area of Logan Canyon just after noon on Saturday, August 19, 2017. The accident occurred approximately 4 miles off of U.S. Highway 89 on the Franklin Basin Road.
